Fishing reports for NEW red snapper season
46' & 42 " Bullred caught on 9_05_2010 by the Irvin Family with Captain Bill on Finsanity the Donzi 9_22_2010 Took out a business trip for catch and release fish not a boat in site at the jetty we had it all to ourselves and the fishing paid off caught a 42 " bullred biggest fish of the day we fished 6 hrs. on a half day trip live and dead bait. Caught gafttop up to 8 lbs lots of craoker and sandtrout. The winds have definitly picked up this month along with out running storm fronts. But, Fishing has been pretty good for captain bill. bringing in specks not so many slot reds right now. On my beachfront trips I have haven't been seeing as many sharks as normal lots of 4-5' ters but, my biggest ones I am seeing are out deep. This time of year I love the Bullred runs it is a wait and see but, they do show up and the jetty water temps are cooling some down to about 87 yesterday windy not very good trout conditions but, great for the bullreds because they don't follow a tidal motion.. Well should have a report from a night fishing trip tonight stay tuned. These are great trips for the in-experienced angler to learn how the bite feels. Trout trips are more geared towards a experienced angler who can feel the bite. Remember saltwater fish don't bite like freshwater fish trout bite more like brim but, with a harder bite feel. 9_27_2010 had the pleasure of taking out the acadian group today what a great bunch of people these people could fish managed a limit of Bullreds all kept and tagged. 20 knot winds stopped us from going offshore but, fishing at the jetty was the option at the last minute. The Bullreds are loving this cooler weather today just beautiful but, a wet ride out with wind blowing the tops off the water at us.
